Fairfax Kitchen Addition

After an unsuccessful attempt at finding the original brick for this home, we were excited to present Eldorado Stone to our homeowners for its very natural look, high quality, and reputation. We chose the Cambria Cliffstone for its elegance and rich color tones.

Creating a comfortable outdoor space that complimented the exterior of the original home was our main design goal for this project. The purpose of this addition was to expand the kitchen into a large open space to entertain family and friends of our homeowners. The homeowners wanted to install large windows to bring their backyard into their home, and blend in with the landscaping. In order to do this, we removed 25 feet of an exterior wall, inserted a 12″ I-Beam for support, and brought the first floor out 8 additional feet allowing us to expand the kitchen and re-position a laundry area and powder room inside. The kitchen now features New River Cabinetry, and Granite and Caesarstone Countertops. Eldorado Stone proved to be a perfect fit for the exterior of this addition, as it blends in with the greenery around the home, as well as with the neighborhood.
